Kent County Council Travel Saver and 16+ Travel Saver applications and photo submissions
When travelling to and from school and similar establishments Kent students are able to carry a valid official smart pass containing, amongst other information, an identity photograph, being a typical head and shoulders passport style photo.
This website provides a straightforward and convenient method for applying and paying for the pass, and for uploading the ID photograph needed for production of all Travel Saver passes. It is the submitter’s responsibility to ensure the photograph is of good quality and a true likeness of the student concerned, otherwise the bus drivers may not accept the pass as proof of entitlement.
Most Travel Saver passes are issued subject to an application fee and once the Travel Saver has been collected by the pass holder/eligible person/parent/guardian, with the exception of KCC 16+ Travel Saver passes, it cannot be returned for the refund of any proportion of the application fee. Requests for a refund of the application fee before the pass has been collected can usually be accommodated at Kent County Council’s sole discretion but will incur a £10 administration fee for processing any refund.
Functionality
The KCC Travel Saver Applications system has been tested on PCs and laptops under various versions of operating system and a range of browsers. It has also been tested using tablets and smart phones. Nevertheless, its functionality on every device/browser/operating system environment cannot be guaranteed.
